Catch Up

Hmm...So I dont know where i left off...I started to post at work but had to quit..I think the last post was pre state rr...So i will start from there. The Missouri State Road Race was God-Aweful. I hate Road Races. I got dropped and caught back up only to get dropped on the steepest fricken hill in columbia around the next turn. I felt like crap and pulled after 33 miles to try and save a little of my self for the crit the next day...Went back to the hotel and watched some tube..there were the weirdest people there, only keaton really knows but all i'll say is "this is innapropriate television for children!!". Then we went out and bought some "GOOD COKE!", only to return to the hotel and get our hellas sweet tv spot ganked by the weirdos. Then the power went out and we got pasta. end of saturday.....

Ahhh....sunday...i hate sundays. I felt good going into the race and decided to stick matt waymans wheel. I thought that he was a solid rider that, although he sits on the back, probly wont get dropped. I think on the second lap john and andy smart went off the front and the group got kinda strung out. i remember looking up in front of matt and seeing a 60 foot gap between us and about 10 other guys behind andy and john. then we were basically in two packs witht the 2 off the front for the whole race. We probly coulda caught and joined up witht the other group had we got organized. I got a bar tape prime tho on the 3rd to last lap on a hell of a pull around the whole lap by the k-man. I took the inside line and spun out my hardest gear and won no contest by 50 yards. thne i was pretty spent. I finished rite behind john and andy who lapped my on their last lap but apparently i didnt finish according to the official scoring.

tuesday night was fun. Sat towards the front for like the first 5 laps. Finished off the back on the last lap due to pure exhaustion. TTT tomoro...hopefully first in jrs, probly will be first unless columbia shows up. Mike says that their will probly be other junior teams but i dont think so. then winghaven. some mistery cat 3 jr is pre registerd. I mite do 5s as well....

State/Columbia Crit

Tommorrow is the state RR. Im pretty not psyced about it. It seems like its gonna be 44 miles of pure hell. I thought that my 17-18 age category might be a sinch for the jersey or at least top 3. I now know that me and keaton arent the only two in this category. Theres the potential of matt wayman showing up and also i now know that NOLAN!!! is a 17-18 and probly some of the other cbc guys are also in that cat. Its also just gonna be painfully long. Im also figuring that since its their turf that all of the cbc guys will be racing juniors as well as their category. Im a little perturbed at that (BIG WORD) but i cant tell them what to do, and it also makes me and the other juniors better riders. Im concidering doing the cat 5 crit as well but its something like 30 bux to enter so im not sure its worth it. The time trial tryouts were last nite. I rode pretty shitty. I didn't eat anything all day...i only had a turky sandwich on one of those little rolls and a little gatorade. So i just felt like i was running on empty. Not too tired but more of that i didnt have anything in the first place. Then on the first lap about 6/10 of the way around the lap, i missed a turn and that threw off my whole concentration.. Chris Caldwell had already gained 5 seconds on me and i looked back when he screamed that i had gone the wrong way. Then after turning around and getting back on track Chris had gained the remaining 15 seconds between us and put on another 15-20. He then proceded to hammer out a hell of a time trial, i think finishing 3rd overall. Im pretty pissed with my results. I think i could have done better had i eaten better yesterday and the preceding days. anyway im still sitting in my towel after taking a shower about an hour ago. i think i mite go get dressed and then eat something. trying to get some sleep tonite cause im really tired from working at mcgurks this morning. I made 40$ tho so im slightly not broke.peace.

Wow this thing sure is fancy. I always thought blogs were pretty stupid, but then i started reading austin's and dan schmatz's and rok's and realized that i was spending hours reading worthless blather and that i wanted to share my crap with the world.
